TutorBug Terms of Services
- Eligibility: Services are exclusively available to families who are active members of CAPA Nova. Membership must be in good standing to access tutoring services.
- Service Description: CAPA Nova offers online tutoring in various subjects for K-12 students. Services are provided by qualified and vetted volunteers.
- Scheduling and Availability: Tutoring sessions must be scheduled in advance. Availability is subject to volunteer tutors’ schedules and may vary.
- Code of Conduct: All participants (tutors, students, and parents) are expected to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor during sessions. Any inappropriate behavior may result in termination of services.
- Privacy and Confidentiality: Personal information will be handled with strict confidentiality and will not be shared outside the scope of tutoring services without consent.
- Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may limit future access to services.
- No Guarantee of Outcomes: While CAPA Nova strives to provide high-quality educational support, we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes.
- Feedback and Disputes: We welcome feedback and will address any disputes or concerns in a timely and fair manner.
- Amendments to Terms of Service: CAPA Nova reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the services following any changes indicates acceptance of the new terms.
- Acceptance of Terms: By accessing and using the tutoring services, members acknowledge and agree to these terms.
